[Recipe] Chocolate Banana Shake

Banana Chocolate Shake , RESTART® Compliant -- The Holistic Dietitian

Chocolate Banana Shake (RESTART®-compliant)
1 frozen green-tipped banana
1 cup almond milk (look for one with minimal ingredients, unsweetened, no carageenan)
1 Tbsp cacao powder
2 Tbsp almond butter (no added sugar)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
6-8 ice cubes

For the garnish:
1 cup chilled full-fat coconut milk (canned, unsweetened), coconut cream, or heavy cream
sprinkle of cacao nibs

Step 1: Blend banana, almond milk, cacao powder, vanilla, chia seeds, and ice cubes in blender.
Step 2: Place mixing bowl in freezer for 15 mins. Add coconut milk to bowl and whip until begins to thicken.
Step 3: Pour chocolate shake in cup, cover with whipped cream, and sprinkle with cacao nibs. Enjoy!
